Job summary

PAMP RECRUITMENT AGENCY LIMITED is seeking an Enhanced Cleaner to join our cleaning team in Somerset TA6. You will perform high-standard cleaning across offices and communal areas with attention to touchpoints and infection prevention measures.

The role offers regular shifts, full training, and ongoing support within a professional facilities management environment. A BASIC DBS certificate and photo ID are required on the first day.

Responsibilities

• Increase cleaning frequency across the building to high standards.

• Report maintenance issues to the site supervisor.

Enhanced Cleaner (BASIC DBS) SOMERSET TA6

Working as part of the Enhanced Cleaning Team, your role plays a vital part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site. You will be responsible for ensuring a quality cleaning service is delivered to the client, with particular attention to touchpoint cleaning and infection control measures.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Increase the frequency of cleaning throughout the building, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times.
• Pay particular attention to frequently touched surfaces including door handles, light switches, kitchen areas, bathrooms, handrails, and communal touchpoints.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards at all times and follow current infection prevention and control guidance.
• Clean offices, communal areas, kitchens, washrooms, corridors, and welfare facilities.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Ensure all equipment and cleaning products are stored safely and in accordance with COSHH regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the site supervisor.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure cleaning schedules are completed efficiently.
• BASIC DBS certificate is required.
• Valid photographic identification must be brought to site on the first day.
• Previous commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.

Uniform & Presentation Requirements

• Tunic provided (where applicable).
• Blue or black trousers only (no jeans).
• Enclosed footwear that can be easily wiped clean (no sandals or flip-flops).
• Staff must be "bare below the elbow":
• Jewellery limited to a plain wedding ring only.
• Wristwatches must not be worn.
• Make-up should be kept to a minimum.
• No nail polish or false nails.
• Hair must be clean, neat, and tied back if long.
