Job summary

Alternative Futures Group in Bolton is seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our on-site, full-time team. You will deliver high-quality, person-centered care within a multidisciplinary in-house team, supporting patients to maximise independence and everyday living skills.

You will lead teams, mentor staff, and uphold CQC standards while providing warmth and compassion. Competitive hourly salary from £18.22 to £22.27, with 33 days holiday pro rata, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide warmth, enthusiasm and compassion when providing support for our patients

You will be a team player, demonstrating outstanding communication skills and will be able to demonstrate effective teamwork as part of a multi-disciplined team

You’ll be up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations and will work using your initiative to make effective decisions to improve care quality

You will be confident in your ability to lead teams and develop support staff to achieve their individual performance outcomes

Experience of Mentorship and a supervisor qualification would be desirable but are not essential

You should be flexible in your working patterns to support a team which provides 24 hour support 7 days per week

Salary based on post-qualification experience, pro rata depending on actual working hours –

£18.22 (£35,510 per annum) – preceptorship Nurse / OT (Not casual nurses as we can only take on casual nurses who have complete their preceptorship)

£19.57 (£38,147 per annum) – Completed preceptorship and upto 2 years post preceptorship experience

£22.27 (£43,419 per annum) – 2 years or more post qualification experience
