Job summary

Kenect Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Machine Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Aston, Birmingham, producing high-quality rugs. Full training will be provided; prior machine-operating experience is valued.

You will operate an industrial CNC guillotine cutting machine, load and unload materials, and follow safety guidelines while aiming to meet daily targets. Shifts: 6:00am-2:30pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm, £13.45 per hour, with weekend/overtime premium rates.

Qualifications

• Some previous experience with machinery in manufacturing or production.
• Experience operating machinery is valuable, and safety is essential.
• CNC experience would be advantageous; training provided.

We are currently recruiting for a

machine-operating or manufacturing experience who is looking to learn new skills. You don't need extensive experience with print or cutting machinery, as

full training will be provided.

The Role

You will be working with industrial machinery as part of the rug manufacturing process, including:

• Operating an

• Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
• Setting and checking machine controls where required.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required specification.
• Following production procedures and health & safety guidelines.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.

About You

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Some previous experience working with machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience operating machinery is essential;

CNC experience would be advantageous.

• A good attitude and willingness to learn.
• The ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Good reliability and attendance.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• A flexible approach to working hours.

You do not need extensive experience with print or CNC guillotine machinery - full training will be provided.

Shift Information

There are

6:00am - 2:30pm

2:00pm - 10:30pm

£13.45 per hour

• Monday to Friday, full-time hours
