As an Electrical & ICA Technician, you will test, commission and fault-find electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems at water treatment sites.
The core of the role involves opening and inspecting local control panels, working through the HMI and using basic tools and testing equipment to confirm that systems are operating correctly. You will also inspect associated mechanical equipment and report any faults or issues to the wider engineering team.
This is a field-based role covering Birmingham, Walsall and the surrounding area, with occasional travel further afield. The role generally involves attending one site per day, with travel time paid door to door.
The employer is open to candidates at a junior level who have practical commissioning experience and hands-on experience working inside electrical control panels.
