Job Title: Personal assistant – SJ/JH/Sept/26

Reporting to: EMPLOYER

Location: Bewdley, Worcestershire

Rate of Pay: £13.01 employed or £15.62 self employed

Hours of work: 5 hours pw

Nature of the job role: The five hours of support can be delivered flexibly, according to needs and preferences. This may be provided as one five-hour session per week, two 2.5-hour sessions, or accumulated to enable longer outings and occasional day trips each month.

Main Duties

SU will cover travel costs for outings. This support aims to help SU remain active in the community, continue engaging in activities that are meaningful and maintain independence. Experience of supporting people living with dementia would be desirable, although a caring, reliable and person-centred approach is the most important requirement.

Domestic duties: N/A

Social Duties: To accompany in the community for social outings

Qualifications: None specifically required, but NVQ 2 or higher in Adult Social Care would be beneficial.

DBS is essential but not necessarily. It is important to have a DBS check when working with children– this will be completed before starting work.
