Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our facilities team in Stansted. In a hands-on role, you will lead electrical installations, reactive maintenance, routine testing, fault diagnosis, and repairs across diverse site environments.

You will work with a multi-trade team to ensure assets operate safely and to high industry standards, following strict Zero-Harm safety practices and LO TO procedures.

Qualifications

• Regulatory Standard: Qualified to BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Technical Proficiency: Proven understanding of complex electrical systems, building services plant, controls, and safe systems of work.
• Schematics: Ability to interpret and work accurately from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Installs: Execute electrical installations, fault diagnosis, routine inspections, and repairs across a variety of site systems, plant, and equipment.
• Multi-Trade Collaboration: Assist and support wider engineering disciplines with wiring, calibration, alignment, and general maintenance duties.
• Compliance & Work Orders: Utilize appropriate calibrated test equipment to identify faults and complete maintenance work order updates accurately.
• Uncompromising Safety Standard: Strictly enforce Zero-Harm protocols-including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures-ensuring no live working is undertaken under any circumstances.
• Site Excellence: Maintain clean, organized work areas, participate actively in regular safety briefings and toolbox talks, and confidently flag safety concerns when identified.

Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer

to join our technical facilities team in Stansted.

In this varied, hands-on role, you will lead electrical installation, reactive maintenance, routine testing, fault diagnosis, and remedial repairs across diverse site environments. Working alongside a collaborative multi-trade team, you will play a key part in ensuring all assets operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest industry standards.
