Job summary

Greggs PLC is recruiting a Shift Manager to lead a store team and ensure excellent customer service across in-store, delivery, Click+Collect and drive-thru channels. You’ll supervise when the Manager isn’t available, motivate colleagues and keep operations running smoothly.

You’ll oversee product preparation, ovens, displays, cleanliness and fast, friendly service. The role blends hands-on leadership with team development and a positive shop culture.

Qualifications

• Previous team supervisory experience in a similar, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and coach the team to deliver excellent results and maintain standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast and friendly manner.

About the role

Join us as a Shift Manager and you’ll be part of a team that loves putting customers first.As part of the management team,you’llbe responsible forlooking after the shop when the Managerisn’taround. You will engage and motivate the team, and make sure they have what they need to do an amazing job.We serve our customers acrossa number ofdifferent channels; in-shop, delivery,Click+Collect and drive thru.You’lllead the way inmaking sure customers have a brilliant experience when shopping with us - whether they order in store or order their food online.While no two shifts will be the same, during a typical shift you can expect to:

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results andmaintainthe excellent standards of the shop
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
• Ensure our displays are fullystocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
• Keep the shop looking clean,tidyand presentable
