Job summary

Co-op Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Team Leader to manage a small store team and deliver essential services to the local community. You will lead shifts, ensure smooth operations on the shop floor and post office counter, and support daily tasks such as merchandising and customer service.

The role is part-time (24 hours per week) with varied shifts, occasional overtime, and at least one weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.

• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, handling transactions on the post office counter, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
• Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract: 24 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) including at least 1 weekend shift, to be discussed at interview. Duties will include working on our Post Office Counters

As a Customer Team Leader, you'll lead a small team in a fast-paced Co-op store, helping to deliver essential services to your community. Depending on your store this could involve you working in our post office or bakery or supporting online services and our home delivery drivers. Whatever the day brings, you'll play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
