Job summary

Home Bargains is recruiting for Catering Team Members at our Amesbury Distribution Centre. You will deliver professional service, handle cash, prepare and present food, and ensure food safety compliance.

The role is night shift only, 18 hours per week across 3 nights (out of 5) with shifts 23:00–05:30. Limited to those available for night work and aged 18+. Benefits include pension, store discount, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced catering or hospitality environment.
• Minimum Level 2 Hygiene certificate and Level 2 Food Safety certificate.
• Ability to organise and prioritise daily workload.
• Problem solving and staying calm in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

We are recruiting for a number of Catering Team Members to join our Catering Teamin our Amesbury Distribution Centre.

You will be responsible for the delivery of professional service at all times, as well as food preparation and presentation, cash handling and ensuring food safety compliance.

The ideal candidates will have experience within a fast paced catering or hospitality environment and feel passionate about providing customers with a great dining experience. You will be welcoming and approachable with excellent communication skills, acting as an ambassador for the function.

Package

£13.00 per hour (plus 19% night shift allowance paid between 10pm - 6am)

NIGHT SHIFT ONLY

18 hours per week working any 3 nights out of 5 including weekends on a rotational basis

Must be available to work between the hours of 23:00 hrs - 05:30 hrs

Job Overview

• Be responsible for the preparation and presentation of all food to the required standards
• Ensure compliance with all company administration and monitoring procedures:
• Recording of food temperatures
• Delivery records
• Recording of fridge andfreezer temperatures
• Food storage and labelling in accordance with guidelines
• Daily administration of bookwork includingFood Safety Diaries and allergen management including Natasha’s law

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

• Minimum Level 2 Hygiene certificate and Level 2 Food Safety certificate
• Knowledge of food production methods
• Experience in a fast paced catering or hospitality environment
• Ability to organize andprioritise daily work load
• Ability to problem solve and remain calm within a fast paced environment
