Overview

Link Contracting is a fast growing Projects & Maintenance company. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Contracts Manager to join our award-winning team. We are looking to recruit a proactive, hands-on Reactive maintenance Contracts Manager with a wide knowledge of building knowledge to work from our Wigan office. Someone able to manage reactive repairs & Small Planned work in the retail and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Managing & overseeing Planned & Maintenance works from quotation to completion.
• To ensure Jobs are delivered on time and within budget along with ensuring site safety and quality is maintained.
• Dealing with customer enquiries and concerns promptly.
• Meet clients, assess work, and produce quotations /estimates and deliver within budget. Also, to provide an advisory service and to develop effective relationships with client representatives.
• Be responsible for the management & recruitment of all labour resources, including Managing sub-contractors and specialist trades, to ensure completion on time and within budget.
• Manage all health and safety on site to include toolbox talks, undertaking regular site safety inspections and post inspections. Reviewing RAMS to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Help market the services of company to generate more work & income, Assist in the planning the future growth of the company, alongside Managers & Directors.
• To help to develop, monitor and manage programmes of work to ensure successful delivery of projects to timescales and to develop future programmes of work.
• Work closely with the Contract Support Team to ensure required information is collated and added to the system.

Qualifications

• Ideally trade back ground.
• Have a strong focus on customer service and customer satisfaction.
• Quoting/ estimating experience required.
• Experience of working in reactive maintenance
• Solid background in building maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills and able to communicate across all levels.
• Ability to work within a pressurised environment, including multi-tasking, problem solving and working independently.
• IOSH – Desirable.
• Demonstrable experience of using a range of IT packages to communicate with all parties to contract. Fully conversant with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and a willingness to learn other systems
• Reliable and punctual, ability to manage own time and workload
• Dress code is smart, professional representation for client meetings
• The role is office based with site visits approx. 65/35 split.

We are offering

• Permanent, full time contract
• Salary: 40k to 45k dependant on experience
• Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00am-17:00pm
• Holidays: 22 days per annum, plus 8 Bank Holidays, increases with service to a Max 25
