Job Description: Reactive Fire Alarm Engineer

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts committed to making a difference. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex, critical work to maintain and protect the nation's infrastructure 24/7.

Reporting to the Senior Reactive Engineer, the successful candidate will join the 1FM Fire contract, working permanent night shifts. The role focuses on reactive fire maintenance, based at our Pirin Court Depot, E16 4TL.

Reactive Fire Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Fault maintenance and rectification of alarms, suppression, and detection systems
• Complete all works to a high standard (first-time fix)
• Attend to and rectify daily faults on the 1FM Fire contract
• Keep the Senior Reactive Engineer informed of issues and progress
• Promote a safe working environment on site
• Assist with scheduling and work allocation

Candidate Requirements:

• Availability for permanent night shifts, 7pm – 7am, on a 4-on, 4-off schedule
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Understanding of isolations and faults related to the 1FM Fire contract
• Proven reactive maintenance experience
• Ability to work independently or in large teams across multiple sites
