Job Description: Reactive Fire Alarm Engineer

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure 24/7.

Reporting to the Senior Reactive Engineer, the successful Reactive Fire Engineer will be integral to the 1FM Fire contract, working permanent night shifts. Focused on reactive maintenance, you will work as part of a skilled team managing fire alarm systems from our Pirin Court Depot, E16 4TL.

Reactive Fire Engineer Responsibilities:

  1. Fault maintenance and rectification, including alarms, suppression, and detection systems.
  2. Complete all works to a high standard, aiming for first-time fix.
  3. Attend to and resolve daily faults on the 1FM Fire contract.
  4. Keep the Senior Reactive Engineer informed of issues and progress.
  5. Promote a safe working environment and culture on site.
  6. Assist with scheduling and work allocation.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Availability for permanent night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am, on a 4-on, 4-off schedule.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Understanding of isolations and fault rectification related to the 1FM Fire contract.
  • Proven reactive maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work independently or in teams across multiple sites.
