Cleaning Operative at RAF Brize Norton, Carterton

You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality cleaning services that contribute to a clean, safe, and healthy environment. This role is essential to the well-being of everyone on site, and you'll be an integral part of our team. You'll have the opportunity to interact daily with armed forces personnel, making a real impact on their quality of life and the overall atmosphere of the location.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Complete scheduled cleaning tasks to a high standard, focusing on details.
  2. Ensure all building areas, including offices and living accommodations, are spotless.
  3. Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand gels.
  4. Respond to reactive cleaning requests.
  5. Carry out change of occupancy cleans in living accommodation.
  6. Perform deep cleaning of buildings.
  7. Provide flow cleaning to cover holidays.
  8. Respond to requests for aircraft cleans.
  9. Perform specialist tasks such as descaling, machine floor cleaning, and carpet cleaning.
  10. Be a champion of health and safety practices.
What You Bring:
  • Ability to pass enhanced security vetting and residency in the UK for the past 5 years.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Ability to meet cleaning standards and work as part of a team.
