Job description

With Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Frontend Lead to join our dynamic engineering team. This role offers opportunities to contribute and grow in two key areas:

1. Express technical leadership as a lead developer within one of our four cross-functional teams, helping deliver sprints and tackling new, challenging parts of the product.
2. Provide chapter leadership across these teams, driving best practices, establishing performance and reliability metrics, and ensuring teams work cohesively on a unified codebase without conflicts or regressions.

As the Frontend Lead, you will motivate our frontend developers in designing and implementing high-quality web applications and interfaces. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and backend engineers will be essential to deliver outstanding user experiences.

This role includes mentoring and guiding the growth of the frontend team while staying hands-on with coding and technical decision-making. You will work in an agile environment using modern frontend technologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage frontend developers across multiple cross-functional teams, providing guidance on technical challenges.
2. Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of complex web applications using modern frontend technologies.
4. Maintain high coding standards and best practices within teams.
5. Work with backend engineers to ensure smooth integration and communication between systems.
6. Drive continuous improvement in frontend development processes, tools, and technologies.
7. Stay updated with the latest frontend industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a frontend developer with a solid understanding of frontend technologies and architectures.
2. Experience leading and managing frontend teams or cross-functional chapters.
3. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and React; experience with NextJS and Apollo GQL is beneficial.
4. Extensive knowledge of frontend build tools, package managers, and version control systems (Webpack, NPM/Yarn, Git).
5. Experience with frontend testing frameworks and methodologies.
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
7. Experience working in an agile development environment.
