React Developer/Architect

Job Description

Summary:

Specialized in Frontend technologies in Web and Mobile with React, Gluestack UI, Storybook, automation testing tools/technologies. Experience in Ionic hybrid app development and familiarity with AWS platforms is an added advantage.

Architect:

Mobile & Web Development Expertise

1. Design, develop, package, and deploy applications using React, Glue Stack, Storybook and ensure seamless integration with Mobile and Web.
2. Work closely with UX teams and PO for right implementation as per the business requirements.
3. Lead the development of high-quality, scalable, reusable components for mobile and web platforms, ensuring performance and quality.
4. Implement best practices and quality tools in UI development and review PRs and suggest for quality improvements.
5. Implement Theme, API integrations, error handling and Feature flagging in UI.
6. Implement automation testing using tools like Jest, Playwright, Appium, Browser Stack for cross-browser compatibility tests.
7. Strong focus on accessibility, implementing WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
8. Prefer Ionic knowledge and any previous experience with integrating Legacy Ionic applications with React new features.

Backend API and Cloud Infrastructure:

1. Good experience in cloud platforms (prefer AWS) and excellent in Back End API development, integrations, debugging to support mobile and web applications.
2. Implement best practices for cloud-based CI/CD deployments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Experience in delivering serverless applications

Technical Leadership:

1. Guide and mentor a team of developers to achieve efficient component design, development, and deployment.
2. Ensure adherence to industry best practices in development, including security, performance optimization, and scalability.
3. Perform frequent (ideally small) code reviews.

Full-Stack Integration:

1. Oversee the seamless integration of mobile applications with Back End systems, APIs, and Infrastructure platforms using modern frameworks and tools.
2. Provide architectural direction for hybrid systems leveraging cloud and on-premise solutions.

Best Practices & Innovation:

1. Advocate for DevOps practices, Developer engineering principles which includes CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, accessibility and performance, debugging and monitoring.
2. Research and introduce innovative tools and techniques to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.

Independent Contributor & Leadership:

1. Design and develop complex features independently while providing guidance to team members for efficient execution.

Architect:

1. Mobile Development: Strong expertise in React with reusable components, accessibility and performance standards for developing and deploying mobile apps.
2. Expertise in GlueStack UI, styling utils and Storybook integration.
3. Expertise in automated testing tools like Jest, Playwright, Appium, Vitest, Browser Stack for cross-browser compatibility tests.
4. Cloud Skills: Hands-on experience with AWS for hosting, storage, and API integration.
5. Component Design: Proficiency in building reusable, scalable, and high-performance components.
6. Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, learn new things and guide teams effectively.
7. Industry Best Practices: Strong knowledge of coding standards, DevOps, and cloud security practices.
8. Ionic Framework: Familiarity with hybrid app development is an added advantage.
9. All roles are client-facing and need good English communication skills.
