Robert Half is assisting a UK-based media organization in recruiting a React Developer for a 6-month contract in London, with hybrid working arrangements.

Role

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js and Next.js.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Build and maintain back-end services and APIs using .NET (C#).
• Implement server-side rendering and static site generation with Next.js to enhance application performance and SEO.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement in code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Profile

• The React Developer should have proven experience with a strong portfolio of web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.
• Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and experience with building RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
