Our client is a long-established, soft drink manufacturing company. They are innovative and dynamic, constantly seeking ways to improve their products and services. An opportunity has arisen for a Reach Truck Driver to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

This role is ideal for a Reach Truck Driver looking to develop their career with an award-winning company.

As a Reach Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include moving products, ensuring correct packing, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

Your duties will include:

• Operating the Reach Truck: Safely driving and operating the truck within the warehouse, navigating narrow aisles and tight spaces.
• Loading and Unloading: Handling items from shelves, racks, and pallets at heights, using extendable forks.
• Stacking and Storing Goods: Properly storing items at various heights to maximize space and safety.
• Inventory Management: Assisting with stock checks, counting items, and using technology like barcodes for tracking.
• Maintenance and Safety: Performing daily checks on the reach truck and reporting issues.
• Following Safety Protocols: Wearing PPE and following safety guidelines.
• Handling Goods with Care: Moving fragile or perishable items carefully.
• Communication: Coordinating with supervisors and team members about operations and issues.
• Assisting with Other Warehouse Tasks: Helping with organizing, packing, or manual loading/unloading when not operating the truck.

Shift patterns include nights (10pm-6am), afternoons (2pm-10pm), and days (6am-2pm) on a rotation basis.

Own transport is required due to the location.
