Job description

We currently have opportunities for Reach Truck Drivers to join our intake team in Thetford.

• The hours of work and shift patterns are:
• NIGHTS 18.00 - 06.00
• 4 on 4 off shift rotation

The rate of pay is: £14.40 per hour + 10% shift allowance between 10pm - 6am

Main Responsibilities:

Working closely with our Production Team, our Reach Truck Drivers will manage stock rotation during stock landings and the picking process.

• Lifting and landing goods
• FLT maintenance checks
• FLT pre-start-up checks completion
• Collecting orders to fulfill deliveries
• Picking out ordered items from storage locations using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.
• Securely shrink-wrapping items before dispatching
• Operating handling equipment according to H&S regulations
• Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved
• Managing stock control (first in, first out)
• Performing general warehouse duties as necessary
• Vehicle loading/unloading manually or with manual pump truck/powered pallet truck
• Ability to use load plans
• Flexibility to be cross-functional with Intake when needed, with full training provided

Ideal Candidate:

Our ideal Reach Truck Driver will hold a Reach Truck (RT) and Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) license. You should be passionate about delivering customer orders while ensuring high standards of Health and Safety, Food Safety, and Product Quality.

You should be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment.

As a fast-moving business, you need to enjoy working at pace, with determination to take action and achieve results.

Previous experience in a factory or warehouse environment is useful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
