Job summary

A global distribution company is seeking Reach Truck FLT drivers for a combination role based in Hemel Hempstead. This role involves operating forklifts and machinery, loading/unloading vehicles, and working in a busy warehouse environment. Full training on equipment will be provided. Candidates must possess a valid Reach Truck license, and be able to work effectively in a team.

Qualifications

• Reach Truck license must be RTITB or ITSSAR accredited.
• Experience within the last 3 years is preferred.
• Driving license desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operating cutting and rolling machinery (training provided).
• Loading and unloading vehicles using FLT truck D-2.
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our Client, a global distribution company for Reach truck FLT drivers to join their team, based out of their Distribution Centre in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire to work on a combination role of forklift and machinery operative- HP2 7EQ to work one of the following shifts;

14.00-22.00 - Sunday to Thursday is £13.49 per hour, 0T after 40 hours is £20.23 per hour (Reach –D2)

22.00 – 06.00 Sunday to Thursday is £14.78 per hour, OT after 40 hours is £22.46 per hour (Reach D2)

FLT Licenses must be either RTITB or ITSSAR accredited,

You will be required to work in the warehouse and this role will be more than just FLT work, you will be loading and unloading vehicles using a boom attachment and as needed, operating machinery when you are not on the forklift so you will never become bored in this role!

Full training will be given on all equipment

Responsibilities:

Working within in a team, under pressure and handle a fast paced busy environment
Operating cutting machinery (training given)
Operating rolling machinery (training given)
Loading and unloading of vehicles (using FLT truck D-2)
Available to work weekly as per the shift pattern

The successful candidate will need the following;
Current Reach Truck license essential
Driving license desirable to be able to travel to and from location but no essential

Required skills

Loading
Reach flt experience, and had a refresher within the last 3 years. (RTITB or ITSSAR)
Physically fit due to some heavy lifting being required
Excellent command of spoken and written English
