Job summary

Meridian Business Support is recruiting for a Reach Truck Driver to join a busy Highbridge warehouse on a 36-hour week with a Monday-Thursday pattern. Immediate start available and Fridays off, with potential to support broader warehouse duties.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Reach Truck licence, have proven warehouse FLT experience and a careful, team-focused approach to safety and stock handling in a fast-paced environment.

Reach Truck Driver

Meridian Business Support is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Reach Truck Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Highbridge. This temporary assignment offers an immediate start and is expected to run for a minimum of four weeks initially.

This Reach Truck Driver position would suit an experienced FLT operator who is confident working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is happy to support wider warehouse activities when required.

The Role

As a Reach Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a reach truck safely within busy warehouse areas and narrow aisles
• Loading and unloading goods from lorries, trailers and containers
• Moving, stacking and storing palletised stock within high-level racking systems
• Carrying out daily pre-use and post-use equipment safety checks
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Supporting with order picking, packing and general warehouse duties when required

The successful Reach Truck Driver will play an important role in ensuring stock is handled accurately, safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse operation.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this Reach Truck Driver role, you will need:

• A valid, in-date Reach Truck licence or certification
• Previous experience operating reach trucks within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience as a Reach Forklift Operator, FLT Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, Warehouse Operative with FLT duties or Logistics Operative.
