Job summary

HR GO Group is recruiting for a Reach Forklift/Warehouse Operative on the late shift in Newmarket, Suffolk. You will operate a reach truck, load/unload deliveries, stock rotation and maintain food production area standards.

The role requires an in-house FLT licence or proven reach truck experience, with own transport due to location. Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00; salary £31,865 per year plus overtime and an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• FLT licence or in-house reach licence.
• Experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to work late shift.
• Own transport due to location.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming deliveries safely using appropriate equipment.
• Operate reach truck to move, locate, stack and retrieve pallets.
• Ensure correct stock placement and rotation.
• Maintain clean, organised and safe working areas at all times.
• Carry out routine management requests daily.
• Report hazards or defects by raising Near Misses.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and housekeeping.
• Carry out cleaning and sanitising tasks as required.
• Comply with health and safety policies and wear PPE.

Reach Forklift/ Warehouse Operative

Join this well-established international food supply business on a permanent basis. We have an opportunity for a Reach FLT Driver to join them on their late shift. If you hold an in-house FLT licence, we'd still love to hear from you.

The role alongside being an FLT driver will also involve unloading deliveries, replenishing and rotating stock. You will be working within a chilled environment, whilst maintaining the highest quality and food safety standards.

There is a distinct food aroma throughout the production area.

Due to the location, you must have your own transport.

Monday - Friday 14:00 - 22:00 (40 hour week)

Salary £31,865 plus overtime and an annual bonus

Key responsibilities:
