Job summary

Jark PLC is seeking an experienced FLT Driver in the BD4 area to operate reach trucks and support warehouse operations in Wakefield. The role requires handling materials, counting stock, and ensuring safe, efficient logistics workflows.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years of reach truck experience, familiarity with WMS, and strong teamwork and communication skills to contribute to a well-organised warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate reach trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Manage stock levels using the WMS to ensure accurate inventory control.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing goods.
• Handle materials carefully, ensuring proper stacking and storage in designated areas.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards.
• Support general warehouse duties such as organising stock and maintaining a clean work environment.
