Overview

All Square Recruitment are hiring a Reach Forklift Operator for a well established and growing business in Stowmarket, Suffolk.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for unloading, positioning, and despatching stock, while maintaining high standards of service and safety. You will support colleagues across departments and ensure warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts (Reach & Counterbalance)
• Loading, unloading, and organising stock
• Picking, packing, palletising and preparing goods for despatch
• Supporting colleagues and other departments when required
• Maintaining warehouse housekeeping and following Health & Safety procedures
• Ensuring warehouse security and assisting with opening/locking up

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Reach Forklift Operator
• Valid Reach & Counterbalance licences
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible, proactive, and detail-focused
• Team player with good communication skills
• Punctual, reliable, and motivated

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Early shift: 6:00am - 3:30pm or Late shift: 7:30am - 5:00pm

42.5 hours per week
(1 hour unpaid lunch + 2 x 15-minute paid breaks)

Flexibility required to stay late when needed
