Overview

LOCATION: Yate

START DATE: immediate

PAY: Circa £14.00 per hour

Permanent

HOURS: 1200pm – 2100 (9pm) Monday-Thursday

Reach Forklift Driver (late shift)

ESS Employment are seeking a full-time forklift driver with a up to date Reach Forklift Licence and experience to join our client’s team. As part of the team, you will help to load and unload vehicles.

Successful candidates would be required to check that loads are completed accurately and safely, making use of freight handling equipment. This role involves lifting. You will need to be a good communicator and reliable, have a good eye for detail, be able to work as a part of team and adhere to health and safety at work.

Key responsibilities
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
  • Follow all aspects of Manual Handling and safe working policies
  • Operating a forklift (Reach licence required)
  • Handle all freight with care and attention
  • Access and egress vehicles using the correct means
  • Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight
  • Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot
  • Report all damages immediately to your line manager
  • Ensure that customers freight are transported, stored safely and treated with respect
  • Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting and suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team
  • Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately
