Overview

Taylormade Employment are seeking a reliable and skilled FLT Reach Driver on behalf of our client based in the Bubwith area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Starting date ASAP.

Pay

£13.82 per hour - £14.57 per hour

Shift pattern

4 nights on 2 days off; 4 days on 2 days off. 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Overtime paid at 1.5 after 40 hours.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a lorry to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to prevent damage.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including shipping documents and logs.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and equipment repair.
  • Utilise the warehouse management system for tracking shipments and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse environment.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic maths skills for inventory tracking.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for minor repairs on equipment as necessary.
  • Ability to perform materials handling tasks effectively, including loading and unloading heavy items.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
