Job summary

A logistics services company in Swindon is seeking D2 Reach Forklift drivers for an ongoing assignment. You will operate a Reach forklift to load and unload goods and assist with picking in a warehouse setting. Applicants must have a valid D2 Reach Truck license and be comfortable lifting heavy items. This role requires adherence to safety regulations and teamwork. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

Overview

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for D2 Reach Forklift drivers to work for our client based in Swindon, with an immediate start. This is an on-going assignment, which can lead to a permanent contract.

Your role will include using the Reach forklift to load and unload goods, such as white goods and furniture. There will be times that you are required to work as part of a team picking in the warehouse; therefore, we are looking for candidates who are happy to work a range of duties. The majority of products are heavy and it is important that you are familiar and comfortable with working with / lifting heavy goods.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods in and loading vehicles, using the Reach forklift.
• Assist with the picking operation, picking products to be dispatched.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and loading area.

Requirements

• MUST have a D2 Reach Truck licence
• Experience using Reach Forklift.
• A current in date Reach Forklift certificate. (Refreshed within the last 3 years)
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical work
