Job Description:

The North Lincolnshire Home First Myos House Extra Care Housing is a registered service providing support to people living with dementia. Myos House features 25 individual apartments with onsite care available 24/7, 365 days a year.

Our goal is to promote and encourage residents to remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible. We offer various fixed-term positions until 30th September 2025. As an employee, you will benefit from a supportive environment that values your wellbeing, including confidential employee welfare counselling.

The role involves direct support such as assisting with moving and handling, personal care, and medication administration, as well as promoting social inclusion and emotional wellbeing.

Support shifts operate on a rolling rota basis, requiring 3 to 4 shifts per week, including AM shifts (07:00-15:00) and PM shifts (15:00-23:00), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. There are opportunities to work additional hours for those interested.

A care qualification is desirable but not essential, as full induction and training will be provided. Ongoing supervision, peer support, and access to training are also available.

As a North Lincolnshire Council employee, you will enjoy benefits such as a competitive pension, health scheme, annual leave, and enhancements for weekends and bank holidays.
