Job description

Reablement Assistant Nights (Care Worker - Myos House), Scunthorpe

This role is based at North Lincolnshire Home First Myos House Extra Care Housing, a registered service supporting individuals living with Dementia. Myos House features 25 apartments with onsite care available 24/7, 365 days a year. Our goal is to help residents maintain independence for as long as possible.

We have various fixed-term posts available until 30th September 2025. As an employee, you will benefit from a caring employer who prioritizes your wellbeing, offering confidential employee welfare counselling.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting residents with moving and handling
  • Attending to personal care needs
  • Administering medication when required
Shift Details:

The night shifts operate on a rolling rota basis, requiring 3 to 4 shifts per week, from 11pm to 7am. There are opportunities to work additional hours for those interested.

Qualifications:

A qualification in care is desirable but not essential, as full induction and training will be provided. You will also receive regular supervision and support, along with access to ongoing training.
