Job summary

Bradford Council is seeking a Reablement Assistant (Days) to join our Adult Social Care & Health team at Dove Court Extra Care Setting, Bradford. This permanent role is 18 hours per week at an hourly rate of £13.26–£13.47.

You will support service users with daily living skills, greet visitors, assist with medication per policy, and contribute to clear daily reports and support plans. QAF Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care required.

Qualifications

  • QAF Diploma (NVQ/QCF) at (minimum) Level 2 in Health & Social Care.
  • Support service users with daily living skills to promote independence.
  • Complete clear and concise daily reports and support plans.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting, assisting, and directing visitors within the service.
  • Support service users with their individual needs and daily living skills, encouraging independence where appropriate.
  • Ensure medication is administered in accordance with the medication policy.

Department: Adult Social Care & Health Position Title: Reablement Assistant (Days) Band/Grade: 5 Hourly Rate: £13.26ph - £13.47ph Contract Length: Permanent Working Hours: 18 hours per week Work Location: Dove Court Court Extra Care Setting, Bradford 3. We are unable to offer sponsorships for this role.

There are 45 properties within Dove Court where individuals who require varying levels of support to maintain their independence and daily living are supported by the staff team.

Our Department of Adult Social Care at Bradford Council has an exciting opportunity for a Reablement Assistant.

Our team is looking for flexible and multifaceted individuals who can work within an Extra Care setting team.

Let’s talk about your skills and experience….To work with a diverse service user group, predominantly with adults aged 35 and over with differing disabilities, mental health, dementia and complex needs.

  • Support service users with their individual needs and daily living skills, encouraging independence where appropriate, supporting and maintaining happy healthy lives for those accessing services.

  • Ensure medication is administered in accordance with the medication policy.
  • Complete clear and concise daily reports and support plans.
