Job description

This role is suitable for ECTs.

We are seeking an RE Teacher at Twyford Church of England High School, an Ofsted outstanding school with a thriving Sixth Form. As one of four Twyford Trust schools, we offer excellent opportunities for professional development. The new post-holder will join an innovative, ambitious, and energetic RE department that delivers an outstanding curriculum designed to develop students as curious, evaluative, and empathetic thinkers capable of understanding diverse faiths and beliefs. Support within the department and from the Senior Leadership Team will be provided.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A good degree and Qualified Teacher Status
  • Ability to teach RE to at least KS4

  • Assessment, recording, and reporting skills
  • Reflective attitude and drive for self-improvement
