Job Description:

An Outstanding mixed school in Haringey requires a dedicated RE Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. The ideal RE Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a passionate RE Teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging RE Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations.
  • Develop students' understanding of religious and philosophical concepts.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead RE-related extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Religious Education.
  • Proven experience in teaching RE at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for religious studies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Inner London Payscale.
