Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our successful and inclusive secondary school in Forest Gate. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Salary: Main Pay Scale
Location: Forest Gate, London
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent
Start Date: January 2026 or sooner

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging and well-planned RE lessons that inspire all learners
  • Use effective assessment for learning to monitor progress and adapt teaching
  • Contribute to curriculum development and department planning
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance and behaviour
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations
  • Support whole-school initiatives, including enrichment and intervention activities
  • Undertake form tutor responsibilities as part of the pastoral system
