About the role

The Stocks & Broths Creator will independently lead projects aligned with business strategy and customer briefs. This role involves developing culinary formulations and ensuring their stability, demonstrating expertise in food formulation, and understanding how materials and processing conditions influence taste, especially for meat-based soups, stocks, sauces, and gravies. The role requires leveraging Kerry technology to deliver unique solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize strengths and deliver the best taste and nutrition experiences for customers. The Stocks & Broths Creator must demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, adaptability, good interpersonal, and communication skills.

Key responsibilities
  1. Lead development for Stocks & Broths opportunity pipeline.
  2. Build strong customer relationships, deliver customer-centric solutions, and manage opportunities to drive business growth.
  3. Drive innovation by understanding market trends, regulations, ingredients, customer needs, and processes. Translate insights into breakthrough strategies and innovative solutions.
  4. Develop collections in partnership with the Portfolio Manager.
  5. Conduct research and sensory testing to improve existing products and develop new ones, outlining procedures and specifications.
  6. Utilize Kerry technologies in stocks & broths creation to meet taste expectations.
  7. Document experimental trials and outcomes to facilitate scale-up and product transfer to manufacturing.
  8. Support manufacturing sites in optimizing production and process improvements.
  9. Partner with teams such as process engineers, flavor experts, application teams, account managers, suppliers, finance, and regulatory specialists to support projects and achieve results.
  10. Manage and maintain category collections, including sourcing products, stock maintenance, sample requests, tracking, and communication with account managers.
  11. Mentor, train, and develop internal talent, aligning career development with organizational goals.
Qualifications and skills
  • Further education in culinary, food science, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a technical product development role, with a proven track record in creating culinary dishes or products using natural ingredients or culinary taste technologies.
  • Restaurant chef experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present technical work to stakeholders and customers.
