Job summary

ERSG Limited is seeking an experienced RC Detailer / AutoCAD Detailer to support a reinforced concrete design package. You will produce accurate GA drawings and stub details in AutoCAD, drawing on existing engineering information and ensuring alignment with design for procurement and construction.

The role focuses on RC detailing with emphasis on foundations, pile caps, and substructure details, and requires strong 2D detailing skills and experience producing GA drawings.

RC Detailer / AutoCAD Detailer

Location:Remote (some office time will be required)

Contract Duration:Until late March 2027

Project Overview

We are currently looking for an experiencedRC Detailer / AutoCAD Detailerto support a reinforced concrete design and detailing package.The successful contractor will be responsible for producing accurateGeneral Arrangement (GA) drawings and stub details in AutoCAD , working from the relevant engineering/design information.The role would suit an experienced RC Detailer with a strong background inreinforced concrete, foundations and substructure detailing , particularly those with experience working on pile caps and associated foundation details.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce2D General Arrangement (GA) drawingsusing AutoCAD.
• Produce detailedstub detailsand associated reinforced concrete detailing.
• Design/detail34 pile cap types .Design/detail34 rock anchor types .Design/detail14 pad and column types .
• Interpret structural engineering drawings, sketches, calculations and design information.
• Ensure drawings accurately reflect the engineering design and are suitable for procurement/construction purposes.
• Coordinate dimensions, reinforcement, interfaces and connection details across the various foundation types.
• Incorporate design changes and comments into drawings.
• Maintain a high level of drawing accuracy and consistency across the package.
• Work closely with the engineering/design team to resolve detailing queries and ensure drawings are delivered to programme.

Required Experience

• Proven experience as anRC Detailer, Reinforced Concrete Detailer or Structural CAD Technician .
• StrongAutoCADskills, particularly 2D detailing.
• Previous experience producingGA drawings and construction/detail drawings .
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete construction and detailing principles.
• Experience withfoundations, pile caps, pads and columns .
• Experience withrock anchors / anchoring detailswould be highly beneficial.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design information accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience oncivil engineering, infrastructure, tunnelling, foundations or heavy civils projects .
• Experience producing details for large or complex reinforced concrete foundations.
• Familiarity with reinforcement detailing standards and construction requirements.
• Experience working directly from structural engineer's design information.
