What is the opportunity?

We have an excellent opportunity for a Wealth Paraplanner to join the team in Birmingham. As a Paraplanner, you will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and build knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios. You will analyse our clients' aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.

What will you do?

• Provide support for Financial Advisers/Financial Planners.
• Facilitate the processing of new and existing business.
• Liaise with administration support.
• Monitor performance and work throughput of administration support to ensure standards and deadlines are met.
• Comply with regulations, principles, RBCBD policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to Conduct Risk standards.
• Understand core Financial Planning solutions and develop knowledge through client scenarios.
• Analyse client aims and needs to aid communication of solutions.
• Produce financial plans and analytical information supporting Financial Planners and Advisers under supervision.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Previous Paraplanner experience.
• Clear communication skills – oral and written.
• Ability to meet deadlines within restricted timescales.

Nice-to-have

• Working towards CII Level 6 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
