Purpose

To guarantee the unloading, storage, and handling of raw materials and parent reels in compliance with work instructions and safety guidelines.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Unload incoming goods from vehicles, recording all necessary paperwork.
  2. Perform visual inspections of all incoming loads to ensure they match the paperwork.
  3. Conduct quality checks of all incoming goods.
  4. Transport goods using proper equipment, efficiently stack, and store them in the correct storage bays.
  5. Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed.
  6. Operate FLT / Clamp trucks safely and efficiently, meeting productivity and quality expectations.
  7. Transport reels and raw materials from the warehouse to production stations.
  8. Identify and report any product damage or quality issues.
  9. Perform daily equipment checks and report faults.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Maintain equipment to ensure daily functionality according to work instructions.
  2. Carry out periodic stocktaking activities.
  3. Optimize warehouse space.
  4. Transport parent reels from the paper mill to the warehouse if required.
  5. Collaborate closely with the Day Services and Shift teams.
  6. Support colleagues and carry out other reasonable requests as needed.
  7. Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the shift.
  8. Adhere to health & safety regulations.
Ideal Candidate
  • RTITB FLT (Counterbalance) certification is desirable; in-house training accepted.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work well both in a team and independently.
