Job summary

Greencore are hiring a Raw Materials Technologist for their Bo'ness site. The role ensures materials meet customer, business and legal requirements, with responsibility for quality, safety and risk evaluation systems and timely corrective actions.

You will support supplier audits, manage material specifications, and collaborate across Technical, Operations and NPD teams to minimize risk and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food safety and supplier assurance.
• Experience with quality management systems and risk assessments.
• Ability to challenge supplier data to ensure compliance and robustness.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Technical, Operations, NPD and suppliers.
• Good audit capability with GMP/HACCP understanding.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw materials have approved specifications and risk assessments.
• Verify supplier information for compliance and robustness.
• Maintain accurate raw material systems, databases and documentation.
• Support NPD and product launches by identifying material risks and impacts early.
• Audit compliance with QMS, GMP and HACCP; drive corrective actions to closure.
