Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in North Scarle is seeking a detail-oriented Raw Materials Planner to ensure seamless operations at the factory. Responsibilities include managing raw material orders, collaborating with various teams, and maintaining stock data. Ideal candidates will have experience in supply chain or production planning and strong communication skills. This position offers an hourly rate of £35,000 - £40,000 with 28 days annual leave and Monday to Friday working hours.

Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented planner with a knack for keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a proactive Raw Materials Planner to join our dynamic team and ensure our factory never misses a beat.

What You’ll Do:

Manage timely ordering and delivery of raw materials aligned with production schedules.
Collaborate with Intake, Production, and Procurement teams to prevent stock-outs.
Build strong supplier relationships and handle import documentation.
Participate in planning meetings, flagging supply risks and suggesting solutions.
Maintain accurate pricing and stock data across systems.
Deputise for Planning & Procurement Manager and Production Planner when needed.
What You’ll Bring:

Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
Experience in supply chain, procurement, or production planning is a plus.

Hourly Rate: £35,000 - £40,000 Annual Salary28 day annual leave

Working Hours: Monday - Friday0800 - 16308.5 hour shifts

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience working with stock and material planning.
• Computer literate with experience of Microsoft applications, in particular Excel (with the ability to create lookups, pivot tables etc).
• Good time management and the ability to sort through tasks in a timely manner.
• Communication skills, written and verbal to effectively distribute information within the business, as well as customers and suppliers who may be visiting site.
• A fast learner who can pick up information about the products they see daily, and of the products developed on site.
