Job description

We are currently seeking a proactive and dedicated Raw Materials Operator for our technical department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the manufacture of Uniblend 8020, ensuring it meets specific quality standards, offloading and loading bulk chemical raw materials, organizing other raw materials, and conducting final product quality testing. The role involves continuous improvement, quality assurance, and health, safety & welfare, while promoting Unilin’s core values of passion, entrepreneurship, excellence, and respect. This is a day shift position supporting both teams, working Monday to Friday.

Key Tasks and Duties:

  • Work within the company’s ethos and standards
  • Produce Uniblend 8020 on-site, testing and ensuring compliance with specifications
  • Connection, offloading, loading, paperwork, and goods receipt of bulk tankers
  • Offload, store, label IBCs and coils, and handle related paperwork
  • Assist production line with lab activities, including blending, replacing, and staging chemicals
  • Coordinate with external hauliers for delivery schedules
  • Perform daily sampling, testing, and input results into the system
  • Calibrate pumps and lab equipment, record results
  • Assist with lab TPM activities such as filter cleaning and pump room checks
  • Maintain accurate stock levels in EWM weekly and monthly
  • Ensure good housekeeping in lab, pump room, tank farm, and storage areas
  • Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines
  • Perform other duties as required by management
