Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a Raw Materials Controller for a food manufacturing business in the UK. You will ensure incoming raw materials meet quality, specification and food safety standards while maintaining traceability and supporting continuous improvement.

Working closely with Technical, Quality and Production teams, you will inspect materials, manage intake records and liaise with suppliers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing and quality checks.
• Knowledge of raw material intake and specifications.
• Understanding of food safety, traceability and audits.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Meat processing experience would be advantageous.

• Identify and escape non-conforming products before they enter production.

The Role

We are seeking a Raw Materials Controller to join a food manufacturing business, ensuring incoming raw materials meet required quality, specification and food safety standards.

Working closely with Technical, Quality and Production teams, you will help maintain product quality, traceability and compliance while supporting continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements

• Experience within food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of raw material intake, product specifications and quality checks.
• Understanding of food safety, traceability and audit requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Meat processing experience would be advantageous.

Hours and Benefits

• Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm.
