Job Title: Rating Surveyor (Up to Associate Director)

Location: London / Manchester / Birmingham / Bristol

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Competitive Benefits

Are you an experienced Rating Surveyor looking to advance your career with a leading, global property consultancy? We're seeking a talented individual to join a dynamic team with a ‘Top 10’ multi-disciplinary firm. About the role:

As part of this nationally recognised team, you’ll work on a diverse range of commercial properties, delivering high-quality business rates advice to some of the UK’s most prominent occupiers and landlords.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert ratings advice to a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Conduct detailed property inspections and valuations.
  • Negotiate with local authorities and represent clients at valuation tribunals.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • MRICS qualified (or working towards).
  • Proven experience as a Ratings Surveyor.
  • Strong knowledge of rating legislation and valuation principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work within London, Manchester or Birmingham.
