Job summary

A global financial services leader is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join their Rates Syndicate Desk in Westminster. This role requires managing risk in a fast-paced environment, reconciling trade processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel preferred), and preferably have experience with trading and reconciliation processes. This position offers an opportunity to work with prominent clients and internal teams to deliver impactful financial solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven proficiency in MS Office Suite, specializing in Excel.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience managing risk and understanding regulations is essential.
  • Experience with reconciliation processes, including hedge managing, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile live books during the bookbuild process.
  • Manage risk hedging in coordination with teams.
  • Assist in trade ticket booking in Athena.
  • Monitor and resolve trade fails.
  • Manage prospectus delivery for syndicated issues.
  • Maintain Syndicate deal files and legal record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations relating to new issues.
  • Cross-check P&L and risk reports.
