Job Description

The Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank’s overall IT Platform/Infrastructure including analysis, development, and administration. It may also involve taking functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments. This role is a key contributor to the evolution of our Fixed Income trading platforms, helping to deliver a cohesive, web-based, real-time, and data-rich trader desktop.

You will work closely with trading teams to build intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that support complex workflows and integrate seamlessly with strategic systems.

  • Build resilient, maintainable UIs with testing and review processes
  • Ensure front-end components are well-architected and integrate into the broader trading platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve engineering practices
  • Support decommissioning of legacy systems and adoption of new technologies
Your skills and experience
  • Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks
  • Experience with real-time trading or financial applications
  • Understanding of front-end architecture, state management, and responsive design
  • Familiarity with WebSockets, REST APIs, and micro-frontend patterns
  • Knowledge of Rates and Credit products and trading workflows
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
