We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Biomedical Scientist to join our Blood Sciences department at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. The postholder will lead a team working at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Wycombe Hospital.
Main duties of the job
Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Head Biomedical Scientist to join our Blood Sciences team.
The Head BMS in Blood Sciences will take the management lead in all clinical work-related issues and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Blood Sciences department, which includes Biochemistry & Immunology and Haematology & Blood Transfusion laboratories.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining and developing a high-quality service, leading a team of senior staff to deliver a efficient medical laboratory service that ensures effective patient care and resource management within the hospital.
