Job summary

Insight Select in London is seeking an experienced Range Planner on a contracted basis to decide which products are stocked and how they are displayed across stores.

This hybrid role (3 days per week in London) pays up to £400 per day for an initial 6-month contract, with a focus on planograms, shelf space optimization, and collaboration with Commercial Managers.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining product ranges for convenience stores, ensuring the right products are stocked in the right locations.
• Working with Commercial Managers and Franchise Partners to select and approve products for stores.
• Analysing sales, inventory, and store data to determine the best allocation of shelf space and product assortment.
• Creating and updating planograms (store shelf layouts) to improve customer shopping experience and operational efficiency.
• Supporting new product launches by ensuring ranges and displays align with business strategy.
• Working closely with Supply Chain teams to ensure displays are practical, cost-effective, and easy to replenish.
• Collaborating with retail store teams to gather feedback and improve future range decisions.
• Visiting competitor convenience retailers to understand market trends, innovation, and customer behaviour.
