Job summary

Insight Select is seeking an experienced Range Planner for a major retailer in London. The role focuses on building and maintaining product ranges for convenience stores, optimizing shelf layouts to maximise sales. Hybrid work with three days on-site per week.

You will analyse sales and inventory data, collaborate with Commercial Managers and Franchise Partners, and support new product launches with cost-effective, replenishable displays.

• Visit competitor retailers to understand market trends.

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Range Planner to join a major retailer and decide which products are stocked in stores and how they are displayed to maximise sales.

Role & Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining product ranges for convenience stores, ensuring the right products are stocked in the right locations
• Working with Commercial Managers and Franchise Partners to select and approve products for stores
• Analysing sales, inventory, and store data to determine the best allocation of shelf space and product assortment
• Creating and updating planograms (store shelf layouts) to improve customer shopping experience and operational efficiency
• Supporting new product launches by ensuring ranges and displays align with business strategy
• Working closely with Supply Chain teams to ensure displays are practical, cost-effective, and easy to replenish.
• Collaborating with retail store teams to gather feedback and improve future range decisions
• Visiting competitor convenience retailers to understand market trends, innovation, and customer behaviour
