About the role

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Range Manager to join our Support Centre team in High Wycombe or Watford.

Reporting to the Head of Range, you will create and maintain retail planograms, manage the range strategy process, and deliver the range calendar in collaboration with suppliers, retailers, and buyers to offer the best consumer proposition for the brand. The Range team works cross-functionally to support various parts of the business.

Training will be provided at our Watford and High Wycombe offices, with flexible remote working arrangements to be discussed.

Main Responsibilities

• Micro space planning using Space Planning software.
• Develop relationships with Buyers, Retail teams, Supply Chain, Retailers, and Customers to inform range and space decisions.
• Influence the Store Development team to ensure macro allocation aligns with consumer behaviour and store layout performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on competitors and new developments to keep the category plan relevant, ensuring the range and planograms meet market needs.
• Analyze data and consumer insights to determine product space allocation and placement.
• Develop and implement best practice policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines for range and space management.
• Build simple, effective planograms that excite customers and drive sales in-store.

You will need

• A degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in range or merchandising roles within a head office environment, ideally in FMCG or Retail sectors.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• An analytical approach, with extensive experience working with product data.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with space planning software such as Spaceman, JDA, or similar is highly desirable.
