About the role

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Range Manager to join our Support Centre team in our High Wycombe or Watford office.

Reporting to the Head of Range, you will create and maintain retail planograms. Additionally, you will manage the range strategy process and deliver the range calendar in consultation with suppliers, retailers, and buyers to provide the best consumer offer for the brand. The Range team works cross-functionally to support various parts of the business.

Role training will be arranged at the Watford and High Wycombe offices, with flexibility for remote work to be discussed.

You will be responsible for

  • Micro space planning using Space Planning software.
  • Developing relationships with Buyers, Retail teams, Supply Chain, Retailers, and Customers to inform range and space decisions.
  • Influencing the Store Development team to ensure macro allocation aligns with consumer behavior and store layout performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Keeping up to date with competitors and new developments to inform the Category plan, ensuring the range and planograms remain relevant.
  • Analyzing data and consumer insights to determine product space allocation and placement.
  • Developing and implementing best practice policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines for range and space management.
  • Building planograms that are easy to implement in-store, excite customers, and drive sales.

You will need

  • A degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in range or merchandising in a head office environment, ideally within FMCG or Retail.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • An analytical approach, as you'll work extensively with product data.
  • Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups.
  • Experience with space planning software such as Spaceman, JDA, or similar is highly desirable.
