Job summary

University of Oxford invites a part-time researcher to conduct independent assessments for participants in the internet Cognitive Therapy for Prolonged Grief Disorder (iCT-PG) trial. Qualifications

The successful applicant will provide independent assessments for participants in the internet Cognitive Therapy for Prolonged Grief Disorder (iCT-PG) randomised controlled trial. They will interact with and conduct structured clinical assessments with eligible participants to follow research protocol, monitor risk and upscale where necessary to on call clinicians. They will recording and provide clear documentation of the assessments and attend supervision sessions.

The post is part-time working variable hours, usually every three months and is fixed term for 18 months.

Applicants should hold a first degree, together with some relevant experience in bereavement research and clinical mental health, alongside relevant NHS clinical and research experience. They will possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within an established research programme along with experience of following and adapting protocols and selecting appropriate experimental methodologies. Experience of conducting interviews to protocol-based training materials is also required along with excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate sensitively.
