Job summary

M-Sport UK, based at Dovenby Hall, is seeking Rally Technicians to join the busy Workshop team. You will support the preparation, build, maintenance and servicing of high-performance rally cars for testing and competition both in the UK and internationally.

The role requires Level 3 Motor Vehicle/ Race Technician education, strong motorsport knowledge and a careful, detail‑oriented approach to vehicle prep. Travel with rally teams will be regional and international.

Qualifications

Educated to Level 3 Motor Vehicle or Race Technician standard.
Strong motorsport knowledge and high-performance vehicles.
Able to carry out mechanical maintenance, servicing and vehicle preparation.
Meticulous approach to vehicle preparation and presentation; quality-focused.
Practical problem solving with a methodical approach.

Responsibilities

Prepare, build and maintain rally cars to required standards ahead of testing and events.
Assist with assembly, preparation and modification of competition cars following technical specs.
Carry out servicing, maintenance and component changes for reliability.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.
Support rally programme tests and events domestically and internationally.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
